UPDATE – N Ireland Cross Border Scheme 2025 – Foot & Ankle Surgery

The Northern Ireland government has announced that ALL PATIENTS who can demonstrate that they have been waiting over 1 year for a foot or ankle operation, can now avail of the Cross Border Scheme. This is a recent change to the previous two years.

This allows patients to have their foot or ankle surgery carried out in the Republic of Ireland with the majority/all of the costs being reimbursed. Mr. O’Flaherty is well placed to seamlessly transfer your care to the UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin, having worked there from 2020.
